Instead of manually operate, this electric tailgate lift relying an actuator and plug to achieve remote control by key fob.
- Features of Rear Tailgate Struts: This Power Liftgate Support made with durable metal material with anti-rust coating for corrosion resistance, anti corrosion sleeve with metal mounting bracket to prevent rust or deform, pre-wired harness to prevent inside wires from rust or break. Built-in electric motor will driving and guide the electric strut to extend or contract.
- How to Install: 1. Keep rear gate door open on max height and remove inner trim panel; 2. Unplug the plug, use tools to loose the old spherical joint and insert new one; 3. Plug the liftgate plug and recover the inner trim panel; 4. Use diagnostic scanner to clear error code, just use scanner to clear if show negative/occasional; replace the lift struts if show permanent. Confirm the L/R mark on struts before install it on your tailgate.
