One Connecting rod (conrod or footman) for older Traditional spinning wheels. This will fit Ashford Traditional spinning wheels made prior to 1989 that used a leather connecting rod joint. This conrod will not fit Traditionals using the green, clear or black plastic connecting rod joints. The connecting rod connects the crank to the flexible joint on the treadle. Connecting rod length 18 9/16 inches (471 mm). Nylon bearing has an inside diameter of 3/8 inches (9.5 mm). Includes one Ashford Leather Connecting Rod Joint and screw. Made of solid unfinished New Zealand Beech hardwood.
